Windows 10’s October 2020 Update, also known as the 20H2 update, is coming soon. This update is focused on bug and performance fixes, but it has some larger changes—like the removal of the System Control Panel.
The October 2020 Update is already available to download for those in the Windows Insider Program, and is expected to roll out widely in. The update, also known as Windows 10 version 20H2, includes the new Chromium-based Microsoft Edge browser, and updates to the Start menu, taskbar and notifications.
Microsoft believes that Build 19042.508 is the final build and still plan on continuing to improve the overall experience of the October 2020 Update on customers’ PCs as part of our normal servicing cadence.
